Web Browser

We like Google Chrome, but most popular browsers that are HTML5 compliant will do fine.

An FTP Account Or A Control Panel Such as cPanel

If you already have a website then you most likely have an FTP account or a control panel that allows you to upload files to your site. If you are using an online Website builder then you need to consult them to find out if and how you can download your webpages to your own hard drive.

A Little HTML Knowledge

HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) along with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) forms the basis of a Webpage. With CMS Amigo there are a few area in which a small amount of knowledge in these two areas will help in making changes to your Website. The learning curve is shallow and most of our templates, as well as our User Guide, will assist you.

What CMS Amigo Isn't!

CMS Amigo is not a drag and drop website builder. It's designed to work with static HTML5 pages that already exist on your site and that are standards compliant or with one of our templates. See W3 Website - World Wide Web Consortium. It's built for the purest who understands the importance of clean and validated HTML5, and website speed standards through Google Core Vitals. All templates we offer are specifically designed to work with CMS Amigo to build your Website. You can also, in most cases, use the code editor to paste compliant code and design your own page as you so desire. In the near future we will offer pre-built templates that you can use with confidence that they are standards compliant. You can try one of your existing webpages within the editor. Most sites work fine with the same functions restrictions as the editor itself.
